Want to meet the team behind the SENSE project? Join us at the Smart City Expo World Congress 2025. Hosted annually since 2011, the world’s biggest and most influential event on urban innovation will be held again in Barcelona on 4–6 November 2025.

Discover how interactive 3D digital twins make urban plans and decisions easier to visualise, test, and improve—together with citizens. We’ll share early results from our SENSE pilots in Cartagena (ES) and Kiel (DE). Stop by for a quick demo and conversation.

Where to meet SENSE @SCEWC!

  •  ‘Meet & Greet’ with the SENSE consortium, 4 November | 13:00 – 14:00 | OASC booth, Hall 2, A65
  • SENSE project, 4, 5 & 6 November | OASC booth, Hall 2, A65

The 4 EU co-funded CitiVerse projects x-CITE, European Citiverses Uniting for Inclusiveness (CU), 3DxVERSE and SENSE work actively together in several working groups. During the Smart City Expo they will hold their next closed meetings and will give a joint breakout session ‘Four CitiVerse projects, one shared European vision’. Want to get up to speed on Europe’s CitiVerse in just 30 minutes? Then this session is for you. The projects will show how a human-centred CitiVerse—an urban digital ecosystem—becomes real through local digital twins, AI (artificial intelligence) and XR (extended reality). You’ll learn more about the very first use cases and how CitiVerse applications can measurably improve how cities are planned, built, and experienced.

Join us for this breakout session on 5 November 2025, 17:45–18:15, at the People First Stage. The session is hosted by Karl-Filip Coenegrachts, Chair of the Governing Body & Executive Director at OASC, with as panel the project leaders Marko Teräs (x-CITE, City of Tampere), Anna Wennblad (CU, Lindholmen Science Park), Dr. Antonio J. Jara (SENSE, Libelium), and Eusebiu Catana (3DxVERSE, ERTICO-ITS Europe). Expect concrete examples, honest lessons learned, and clear takeaways you can replicate.

Join us at the Smart City Expo 2025 and leave with actionable ideas to make your city smarter, greener and more democratic.
